The research done by Lansing Laboratories indicates the pituitary glands, if aroused, can release hormones similar to the ones released during puberty, and these hormones directly affect the size of the penis. The website offers some customer testimonials, but does not show any scientific research being conducted, or any clinical trials being tested. The ingredients contained in the Andro Enlarge capsule are as follows; Horse Chestnut seed, which contains ingredients designed to stimulate the pituitary gland, Tribulus Terristris, which causes the body to produce testosterone affecting the testes, South African Maca causes the body to produce DHEA which causes the penis to grow, Mucana Puriens causing the amino acid, L-Dopa to be released creating an increase in testosterone, and Chinese Wolberry which helps create the hormone IGF-1 which causes tissues to grow.
The ingredient the company claims to be the main effective hormone is called androstenedione and produces testosterone, however trials done one the effectiveness of this hormone on sexual performance is not at all, even though it is released by the body during puberty. Another claim for this hormone is that it increases muscle size, like a steroid, and this again shows the androstenedione has little or no affect. The Food and Drug administration has banned this product.
There is no point to discuss anything positive about this product as it is illegal to use in the U.S.
